Anaglyph 3D is a 3D effect achieved by viewing images with parallax through filters of different colors with the left and right eyes.
For example, in 3D glasses with red and blue lenses, the lenses cancel out the red and blue images, delivering different images with parallax to each eye. We recognize the parallax of this image as depth information, and can perceive it in the same way as the depth and three-dimensionality we normally see.
"Anaglyph 3D" is used in a variety of scenes for video and image production, including theme parks, amusement parks, advertisements, museums, exhibitions, and the Internet.
Santek's "Anaglyph 3D Glasses" use red (left eye) and cyan (right eye) lenses. The use of cyan lenses improves image parallax and provides a clearer three-dimensional effect. (The three-dimensional effect obtained varies depending on the color of the image, the surrounding environment, and individual differences.)
